1When can I enroll my child in classes at Empire?
We offer continuous enrollment and hold classes year-round. We have several Holiday closings throughout the year, your monthly tuition takes these in to consideration. If you would like to enroll mid-month Empire will gladly prorate your tuition.
2Is there a Registration Fee?
NO, as of 7/20/2016 Empire Gymnastics will not be charging a registration fee for any of its programs.
3What if my child misses a class? Can she make it up in another?
YES, there will be makeup classes allowed for any days missed in a month aside from holiday, gym, or weather related closings unless otherwise specified by the owner. You may go through the parent portal and register for the Preschool and Beginner designated Saturday Makeup Class. For any other classes needing to be scheduled for a makeup you can call the front office to schedule your make-up in a class that has availability to ensure we keep the correct student/teacher ratio.
4What is your student/teacher ratio?
Our preschool aged programs will have a 6:1 student/teacher ratio. Our school-aged 5+ classes will have an 8:1 ratio. If less than 3 students are registered for any given class, Empire Gymnastics Training Center, LLC. reserves the right to cancel, combine, and/or reschedule students into another class.
5When is tuition due for classes?
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. After the 10th there will be a $20 late fee assessed to your account.
6Does the tuition automatically draft out of my account or can I pay it online?
YES, We do require a card to be on your account and tuition will be drafted on the first of each month. Cash and check payments are only allowable by the discretion of the Office Manager, but a card is still required to be placed on your account. You can also access your account using the parent portal on our website. From the portal, you can view your account and make additional payments. You may also change your card information through the parent portal, stopping by or calling the front office.
7Can I register for classes online?
YES, you can register via this website or through the parent portal. There is no discount for this feature.
8Do you have any other discounts?
Empire Gymnastics is proud to offer a 20% off discount to all military and public service personnel (fire, police, EMS). Valid ID must be presented for discount; we also offer a 10% sibling discount. All discounts will apply to the lowest priced class.
9Can I have more than one discount for my account?
No, you can only use one discount per account. We will apply the largest discount you qualify for to the account.
10Can I request an instructor?
YES, you can. Parents may request a specific instructor for their child's class but there are no guarantees. Please note that instructors, class size, and ages of students in class are always subject to change. All administrative questions and specific comments/concerns about class must be directed to a manager.
11What should my child wear to gymnastics class?
All gymnasts must wear a one piece leotard that does not show the midriff or low back. They may wear shorts if they would like, but it is not a requirement. Boys and Tumblers may wear shorts and a fitted tee shirt. No skirts, zippers, buttons, snaps or ties are allowed. All clothing must be properly fitted for safety purposes. Hair must be secured up and out of the face. Socks and sneakers are not permitted in the gym area, instructors may wear gym sneakers to coach.
